After a continuous increase, the value of the dollar recorded a slight decline


KARACHI: After four consecutive days of increase in the value of the US dollar against the Pakistani currency, there has been a decline.

According to the details, the increase in the value of the dollar started on October 12 in Interbank, as a result of which an increase of 2.87 rupees was recorded till October 20.

According to the data released by the State Bank of Pakistan, the value of the dollar has decreased by 11 paisa on the fifth day of the new business week in interbank.

Similarly, in the open market, the trend of dollar depreciation continued on Friday after Thursday and the dollar fell by another 55 paise to 224.90. According to forex dealers, the dollar decreased from 220.95 to 220.84 rupees in the interbank. is closed.

According to economists, in the month of September, the pressure of the dollar on the Pakistani rupee decreased as a result of a significant reduction in the current account deficit, a halt in the decline in foreign exchange reserves and the approval of a loan by the Asian Development Bank for Pakistan.
