According to the details, the Ministry of Finance has released the Annual Debt Report, in which it is stated that Pakistan's foreign debt is 18 thousand 156 billion rupees by June 2022, compared to June 2021, this debt is 4 thousand five hundred and fifty five billion rupees. increased.
In the report, it was said that after the increase of four thousand three hundred and eight billion rupees in the foreign debt of the government of Pakistan, it reached sixteen thousand seven hundred and forty seven billion rupees.
The Ministry of Finance said that as of June 2022, the volume of IMF loans is at six billion and eighty million dollars. During the last fiscal year, due to the depreciation of the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar, the loans of the IMF have increased by 248 billion rupees.
According to the report of the Ministry of Finance, in the last financial year, the debt of the Paris Club reached 9 billion and 20 million dollars, the size of multilateral loans reached 34 billion and 20 million dollars, and the volume of bilateral loans reached 18 billion and 5 million dollars.
Similarly, Pakistan's Euro and Sukuk bond debt reached 8 billion and 80 million dollars, the volume of commercial loans reached 9 billion and 40 million dollars, the foreign debt of Naya Pakistan Certificate reached 95 million dollars and the short-term foreign debt of Pakistan reached 1 billion and 30 million dollars.
The government of Pakistan has also issued government guarantees of more than 14 billion and 60 million dollars.
